Huahong Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Wuxi Project Achieves New Progress

    On December 24th, the steel roof truss hoisting ceremony for the main factory building of Huahong Manufacturing (Wuxi) project was held in Wuxi High tech Zone. Zhang Suxin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Huahong (Group) Co., Ltd., announced that the steel roof truss of the main factory building of the Huahong Manufacturing (Wuxi) project has started hoisting.

    It is reported that the Huahong Wuxi Integrated Circuit R&D and Manufacturing Base project is the first manufacturing project of Huahong Group to go out of Shanghai and expand nationwide. In August 2017, the first phase of the Huahong Wuxi project settled in the Wuxi High tech Zone, which took only 17 months from construction to production, demonstrating the "Huahong speed". According to online news from Wuxi High tech Zone, the project has undergone two rounds of expansion and is expected to achieve a total monthly production target of 94500 pieces within the year, setting a model for cooperation in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.

    On June 8th this year, Huahong Group decided to launch the second phase project of Huahong Wuxi Integrated Circuit R&D and Manufacturing Base in Wuxi High tech Zone, with an investment of 6.7 billion US dollars, to build a new 12 inch characteristic process integrated circuit chip production line with a production capacity of 83000 pieces. On June 30th, the Huahong Wuxi Phase II project officially began construction. According to online news from Wuxi High tech Zone, 70% of its factory building construction has been completed in less than half a year.
