SC430LA First Linear Array CMOS Image Sensor

The Backlit (BSI) image sensor is equipped with an innovative SmartGS ®- 2 Global shutter technology, relying on the advanced analog circuit design of STV, supports excellent Trilinear color mode and 32x analog gain, and integrates four performance advantages of high stability, high accuracy, low noise and high line frequency. It can be applied to various industrial environments, enabling all-weather industrial linear array cameras with high transmission speed and high image quality.
    With the further deepening of the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, industrial CMOS image sensors (CIS) will fully benefit from the demand expansion brought by the upgrading of various industries. According to the latest data of Yole, a well-known semiconductor analysis institution, the shipment volume of industrial CIS market will be 252 million in 2021. During the forecast period from 2021 to 2027, the shipment volume of industrial CIS will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of nearly 10%, and will reach 441 million by 2027.

    SC430LA adopts the analog circuit design with the advantages of STV, and the analog gain can be opened to 32 times at most. When the same picture brightness is used, the higher gain can significantly reduce the brightness of the light source, thereby reducing the overall heating and improving the overall efficiency. During operation, SC430LA has excellent stability, which is enough to collect reliable image data for industrial applications in real time for a long time. This new product has 4K resolution and is based on the unique SmartGS ®- 2 The global shutter technology is built with BSI technology. It has a quantum efficiency (QE) of up to 77% in the 500nm wave band, which is 10% higher than the industrial products of the same specification in the industry. It provides more real and effective image information in the industrial low light environment to achieve 4K resolution.
    On the other hand, with the ultra-low noise peripheral reading circuit technology and upgraded color technology developed by STV, SC430LA can achieve excellent noise control and color presentation effects. Its fixed noise (FPN) and pixel response nonuniformity (PRNU) can be reduced to 0.28e - and 0.53% respectively. Compared with similar products in the industry, the dark current is significantly reduced by 51%, significantly improving the image quality captured by the product, presenting higher color accuracy and richer image details, which can fully meet the requirements of industrial applications for high-precision sensors.
Advanced Trilinear color mode for superior imaging quality
    SC430LA provides black and white and color versions. The black and white version has 1-wire, 2-wire and 3-wire working modes for customers to choose. Among them, SC430LA‘s line frequency can reach up to 100KHz under the 3-wire working mode, and the image reading speed can be comparable to the 2-wire mode of products of the same specification in the industry; Under the 1-wire working mode, the line frequency can reach up to 200KHz, which greatly improves the detection efficiency of industrial linear array cameras and efficiently helps the industrial detection industry upgrade. The color version can support Trilinear color mode and Bilinear color mode. Compared with similar products in the industrial CIS field, the advanced Trilinear color mode can further improve the image quality, retain more details of the picture, reproduce bright and natural colors, and finally present a clear and delicate full color imaging effect.
    In addition, SC430LA has built-in power supply and clock modules, which do not require additional power supply, and can help customers achieve optimized power distribution solutions in a more cost-effective way.
